Talmud Torah was founded with a commitment to educate learners from all corners of the Jewish community. Over the years, using sacred scrolls and Smart Boards, the arts and technology, discussion and debates, field trips and school-wide celebrations, our dedicated, professional educators have brought their knowledge and creativity to expose students to the richness of Judaism. Students gain deeper insight into our holidays, lifecycle events and the importance of Torah (study) and Tikkun Olam (repairing the world).

Our rigorous education builds knowledge of Judaism and its traditional practices based on the teachings and egalitarian, pluralistic principles of the Conservative movement. As a school co-led by two distinct Conservative congregations (Adath Jeshurun Congregation and Beth El Synagogue), Talmud Torah offers students a place to make deep connections with other young people from different Jewish backgrounds who come together for profoundly valuable educational and social experiences that build pride and self-confidence in being Jewish.
