Talmud Torah began in 1895 as The Hebrew Free School in Knesseth Israel Synagogue. Over the next 125 years, the school moved to eight different locations to meet the evolving needs and demographics of the Minneapolis Jewish Community. Although Talmud Torah's physical foundation has changed many times, our strong educational foundation has remained consistent.
